this post is as much for me as it is for other fictionkin but

  • its okay to have 20+ kintypes
  • its okay to just have one
  • its okay to have lots of kin memories
  • its okay to not have any kin memories
  • its okay to have memories from some kintypes but none from others
  • its okay to have a questioning list ten miles long
  • its okay to consider a kintype for months before adding it to your list
  • its okay to add kintypes right away
  • its okay to think you’re kin with a character but later find out you’re not
  • its okay to have the intensity of a kintype fluctuate over time
  • its okay to have a kintype from a problematic canon
  • its okay to have a kintype from an obscure canon
  • its okay to have multiple kintypes from the same canon
  • and last but not least, its okay to have fun being fictionkin !
